Helping Hands-The "Zaky"

This a product that I am very exceited about. When our little AvaBaby was in the NICU born at 26.5 weeks we were told that touch was good, but that we should not stroke her. So we would stand there next to her isolette with our hands cupped around her head and feet, coccooning her for hours at a time. She loved it.
The problem is we couldn't be there all the time no matter how much we wanted too. When I saw the "Zaky" I thought how perfect is this!! Extra hands to snuggle a preemie when no one can be there. Sure the NICU has positioning pillows, but the "Zaky" is not just a pillow because it is in the shape of your hands so you can literally place them around your little one like your own hands.
You can adjust the wieghting materials inside for just the perfect amount of snuggle. The "Zaky" is washable. It can be warmed. And this is one of the best ideas......mom's can snuggle with the "Zaky" while sleeping for a night or two to leave her personal scent on it, familiarizy your little one with that comforting smell of mommy.
The "Zaky" was developed by the mom of a preemie who was in the NICU for 155 days. When a child is born prematurely they are take from their safe, warm secure environment long before they a ready. The smaller ones are depended on life support and survival is a struggle. The "Zaky" is able to snuggle them with the warmth and closeness they experienced in the womb.
In my mind the "Zaky" is one of the best products ever developed for preemies, especially those in the NICU environment. There is also that added comfort for mom's & dad's knowing that when they must leave their baby's side, that there will always be extra hands holding your little one carefrully.
